been a while

Hello to everyone! man I haven't been on here in such a long long time. So much for my project 360. hahaha.. I tried. I really did. Not too long after my last post Nick got sick and we got sent to Anchorage He was in the hospital for 3 days. He had a MRSA infection on his bum. Then 10 days later we went out AGAIN, he had a horriable cold sore infection that took over his mouth and he hand it was pretty bad. He was pretty misreable. Had some tuff nights but we over came it and he is doing very good now. Then Grandma Debbie and Noah came to spend a month with us. We had a blast. We went to ceramics and bingo and Noah got to go out on the boat with his dad. They trip was way too fast and we miss them now. Jaycee has been busy busy littly boy constructing... his christmas wish list... lol.. He has spent hours on amazon looking for Halo 3 toys and figurins. He told his grandpa Ron last night that he was gonna send him his list and that he only need to get some of the things on his list.. lol.. silly boy... We have had a lot of snow the past weekend and he has been out alot having a BLAST. Nick had a WONDERFUL 1st birthday, he got lots of great presents. Thanks to everyone who came and made his day wonderful. For the whole month of October I took an EMT class. It was so hard but it was also a lot of fun. We laughed a lot and Bon and Chris made a wonderful DVD video of pictures and video clips, it was very funny to watch. The hardest part was the night that we did our practicals. man. I hope I never have to do that AGAIN!!! It was tuff. I almost started crying when I finished my last station. I had already failed 2 stations and If I failed it again I would have to retake it at another time. It would have been so very embarassing to have competly failed. It was very tuff. But i passed, now i'm just waiting to see if I passed my written test. I guess it takes a while almost 2 months before I will hear anything. Chris has been gone since the 16th of October. He was in Squaw Harbor working until the 8th of November then he flew down to Seattle to spend Noah's birthday with him. Also he is getting all our stuff for our NEW house. Yes were have been working with my dad and my brother and we split my parents old house into a duplex. Joe gets the back half and we get the front half. We also built a new addtion to our side that will house our new kitchen on the 1st floor and our bedroom on the second floor. So chris has been busy busy buying all the flooring, plumbing, cabinetry, applicence and so forth. It's been great. I'm not sure if he thinks it's great cause he is getting burnt out of shopping.. lol ... but he will be home on the 19th of noavember for the rest of the year. We are so so excited. I can't wait to have my husband home for a while. It's been hard cause he has been gone for so long. I really hope he can stay home more often next year. I can't wait until Thanksgiving and christmas. We are hoping to be moved into the new house before the 15th of December. That is our goal. Wish us luck!!

Today Nick, Joe Joe and I went out side to play in the yard. The boys had so much fun swinging and sliding. Nick got his 1st taste of MUD! I don't think he liked it.
What the camera did miss was about 10 minutes after Nick was eating mud the boys were swinging and Joe Joe said he was done and he jumped off the swing and walked right in front of Nick on the plastic baby swing and knocked him a good one right in the face. Poor Joe Joe went flying back to the ground... Poor honey was screaming. He only bled for a few minutes and didn't get a very fat lip. He was actually very intrigued by his blood after he stopped crying. lol..

Today Nick re-discovered the bouncy chair, and I think he like it much better then he did when he just laid on it.. lol.. He figured out that he can climb on it and hold on and JUMP... lol.. so far (knock on wood) he hasn't fallen..

Project 365- Day 5- 7/11/09

Nick and I decided to spend the day in our jammies. We had a lot of fun. Nick was laughing pretty hard as he was trying to pull off this shirt from his head. I was kinda sad when I finally realized that it was so beautiful outside and we wasted it being lazy. We are really missing daddy and Jaycee. The house is pretty quite without them.

Project 365- Day 6- 7/12/09

Yes, We have a CLIMBER in the house! What the camera failed to catch was about 5 seconds later Nick fell off the car and landed on his butt, legs completly under the chair. lol. He didn't cry for very long! Pretty soon i'm gonna find him on top of the chair.

Look at all those toofers.. He has 8 total. He really looks like his daddy in this picture. He has his daddies eyes, hair color, even he daddies feet... Such a handsome little man.. I love him to pieces. He really loves chewing on that pluggy..

Today Nick and I went for a walk down to the end of the ferry with my mom and Joe Joe. When we got down towards the ferry dock I let Joe Joe catch a ride on the stroller. He said he was tired and he got really comfy. He almost fell asleep.. lol... It was a pretty nice walk!






When we made it to the ferry dock we say dad's boat the Little Trace coming in from fishing. He did a drive by the dock so the boys could see him on the boat. They waved. well at least Joe Joe did. Nick slept most of the walk. He was getting a little fussy on the way home but over all it was a very nice walk. I was very buggy! I've been missing Chris a whole lot. I sure hope he is coming home soon...

Project 365- Day 2- 7/8/09

This is Duc-a-Duc.. You can normally find Duc-a-Duc in Nicky hands or mouth and usually never to far away from him. Duc-a-Duc takes baths with Nicky and goes on walks with Nicky. Nicky loves Duc-a-Duc and Duc-a-Duc loves Nicky. :o)

Today was a good day. It was beautiful outside.. very very buggy! Nick and I went for a walk to the end of the ferry dock with Stacy, Mallorie, Brooke and Charlene. It was a great walk. Only 10 more days until the final weigh in for the biggest loser.. I don't think i'm gonna win. I have however lost a lot of weight since the 8th of June. I'm pretty pround of myself. It's hard losing weight. I commend anyone who works hard to get into shape. I got an email from my handsome hubby who is working his tushy off. He said he is working 16 hour days and is losing weight. I'm not sure if it's a healthy way to lose but i guess he is losing. Probably losing more then me. lol... Well I hope you enjoyed my photos. I just have to throw 2 extra photo's in cause Nicky looks just too darn cute!

Wordless Wednesday!

So I've been exploring the blogging world a lot lately and I figured maybe I should jump on the band wagon.. lol.
I decided to focus my blog on my boys since they are the center of my world. They are just awesome and I'm blessed to have such wonderful people in my life.
I found a site that talked about project 365 What you do is take a picture a day and post it on your blog, I found very interesting so I'm going to attempt this. I hope I can keep up. I take many many pictures of Nick every day so it should be pretty easy!. (I say that now...lol)
Also another blogging thingy I thought was cool was "Wordless Wednesday" which is finding a picture that just doesn't need any words to explain it. So look for my wordless wednesday photo tomorrow, in addition to my project 365 photo.

Project 365- DAY 1: 7/7/09Thank you mom and dad for this awesome jogger stroller. Nick and I did our official 1st walk down to the end of the ferry dock. It's a total of 3 miles from my apartment. It was a nice evening for a walk, not a very strong wind just a cool breeze, kept the bugs away. Nick took a nap and woke up as soon as we got back to the apartment. You can see from the smile Nick enjoyed the walk as much as mommy did. Notice the muddy tires. It's been wet out the past week so the where plenty of mud puddles to stroll through.
